In March 2019 the Horizon collaboration brought together ceramics and menswear in a unique way. 

Scottish fashion designer Niki Fulton launched the Horizon collection the year previously, Niki describes the Horizon collection as 

"a colour journey through the Hebridean landscape fused with Japanese principles of ikebana, creating space for colours to float on the horizon, a pause for reflection within a structured space." 

With this in mind Niki approached me about creating some pieces to compliment  the Horizon collection. Inspired the duality of colour in the collection I chose to create slip cast pieces that had two layers of colour, these colours merged on the top of the vessels in a crisp line, creating a new horizon. 

The collaboration debuted at Ryan James in Glasgow
